drop and cough

Taking the 1st step to immigration and having to go do my medical today was less painful then 1st thought .

It only took 1 hour , and we ended up at 2 different medical centres at that , woohoo !

I know sav is ranting about healthcare on her blog , so far be it from me to say to much praise.

So $80 dollars down ,and 2 tubes of blood later, the nurse sends me and wife AKA the limo driver, on our way to the next place where im getting poked more, $135 im told will be the cost, OK no worries there madam , i fill out the papers go back to lady number 2 , that will be 130 dollars , please go pay at the cashier ,,, no problem !

I pay gracefully , and park my bum down , and no sooner as i think " wow this is going to be a long wait" i hear " MR Wilkes " woohoo !!!

Nurse and her superiour talk about Email, then tell me to take the paper back to the cashier, with a new slip ...

$90 ,, thats 45 less then i originally expected. THE MILKY BARS ARE ON ME !

2 more pokes and im done, Full of TB jabs and M M R holes, my arms are surely to drop off tomorrow .

I wished it took longer to be honest , it just seemed the more time we spent there , the bigger the discount we got !

Ohwell ... Not exactly a funny story from across the pond Matt...


Did I mention we saw a midget in skin tight lyrica and a guy in a wheelchair fall out onto the road last week in hollywood ? ( I know i shouldnt have laughed , it really looked like a setup to be honest, damn jonnny knoxville)..


I saw sav joined up too , and i think jaco fell off the face of the earth... You guys alive ? :)
