hehe, been in testmode again ;)
As SL is boring me a bit lately, i did some testing on toys again and indeed found some funny stuff. To be more precise, i been looking for addons for firefox 3, cause updating led to losing some funny ones, wich lead to browsing and testing. ;)

Cooliris (win only) and Cooliris Previews
- first: Cooliris is a picture wall wich indexes searchword related pictures from different sources, like google, flickr and youtube (yes it plays vids too)
- second: Cooliris Previous gives you a (navigatable) preview of a website when you hover over a link, very nice stuff
FoxyTunes
- ever been annoyed for having to minimize your browser for changing a song in your player? Also you have a button to look up track and artist just playing now and get results from various pages
Ubiquity
- experimental addon from Mozilla Labs see http://labs.mozilla.com/2008/08/introducing-ubiquity/ for more ;)
Speed Dial
- provides a start page with a choice of 9 configurable site-previews, to quickly access your favourite sites
- there are several google related addons, like googlepedia, google preview, and customize google among they are partly covering each other and i haven´t look into any options yet, so you might wanna have a look on your own ;)
- LOL or you just use http://www.scroogle.org/cgi-bin/scraper.htm for some cleaner search results and (maybe) less data mining ;)
Security addons
- Adblock Plus, Flashblock, NoScript - there are tons of others, but that would need a deeper look into it

its alive...
hehe sorry for being absent a while, website creation is in the hot phase atm, so i have to spend more time on that, rather than reading blogs or play some games.
sooo blunked managed to make me have a look into anarchy online... and it is...
erm ;)
i mean first i had a good laugh about entropia, for being such a bad clone ;)
then i figured, that i´m running into the same problems i have with entropia or WoW or whatever game.. i kinda refuse to learn a complete new interface with trillions of shortscuts and other tricks, for not being able to produce anything with it.
i would rather like to learn another program or improve my blender skills, instead of learning an interface i can´t produce with, but then again, there is no blunk to nag about there. ;)
so i guess i will have some more looks into ao, but i can tell by now, that i won´t become a hardcore-player there, cause .. uhm.. just hunt and loot is not really my game.

Update on Matts life situation
Today, August 18, I'm starting school...
For 2 years forward I will study economics, customer relations and stuff to become a salesmanager.
Hopefully it will go well and lead to high paid job with decent workhours.
Can't complain about the class, many girls in suitable age and they all seem like a fun crowd. So I reckon it will be fun.
Hope the rest of you is doing well and everything is going ok.

bike pays off.....
I was up at the crack of bird shit yesterday, finding myself browsing through the freebie section on craigslist.
After stumbling upon a FREE BOOKS section , and much ummm'ing and arrr'ing. I packed my bag and off I rode convinced they would be gone by now, but I dont need much excuse to explore my city a little more.
About 30 minutes and I get to the street, and low and behold !!!! BOOOOOOOKS
FREE BOOKS !!!!!
I took as many as my backpack would take. I really could have done another trip, as there were lots of good quality books with the covers all intact. *Yawn* i know not very interesting ! ;)
Damn it though Owt for Nowt I say .... Anything for Nothing ;)

The $30 dollars I got from sitting on my ass playing poker that is !
Got it off craigslist after I nearly bought an older bike , no suspension for $25.
Went to the guys house , I jumped on it , and nearly ate concrete after applying the breaks . As Over here they are wired up back to front ,and I nearly went screaming over the handlebars.
A few adjustments with a spanner and it will be ready to roll, and YES MATT !!!
I WILL BE TAKING THAT KICK STAND OFF ASAP !

We went to the Employment support center today to get my immigration process rolling again, and i had my finger prints and photo taken . So that was nice .
I think we under-estimated how hard this was going to be on us , even though we went through it all with a fine toothed comb.
We are so close to that point, were everything will be OK, when I am working and bringing in much needed cash .
I feel for our Vixen as I know your going through something similar ,but you guys are being more cautious towards the big switch. I am already looking for potential jobs for when that sweet day soon will come, when our post box contains that much needed single piece of paper.
So come on post man do your job !!! Give me my license to work ! or kill !!!!! I always fancied myself as james bond, Double '0' nothing . Hmmmm that new james bond sucks tho IMHO!

I have managed to work my measly poker score upto a fantastic ............. $41.55 , so im getting towards that million dollar mark like a turtle, Slowly but Surely ....
I think that is it !
